Provider FAQ

Questions, answered

Does this cost anything for my practice?
No. Orivia Care is entirely free for healthcare providers. The program is funded through Medicaid reimbursement — no fees, no contracts.
Do you need access to patient charts?
No. We only need the patient to receive your referral link. Orivia Care handles all eligibility screening independently.
How much time does a referral take?
Under 60 seconds — you share a link with the patient. We configure a referral flow that fits your existing workflow.
Do you support Spanish-speaking patients?
Yes — not a barrier at all. Orivia Care has Spanish-speaking representatives who guide patients through the entire process.
What will my patients be asked during screening?
United Hands calls within 24–48 hours. The call is 15–20 minutes: name, DOB, Medicaid number, eligibility questions. Then meal selection and delivery scheduling.
Are the meals frozen or freshly cooked?
Freshly cooked — not frozen, not raw. Delivered twice a week directly to the patient's door. Menu rotates weekly with vegetarian options available.
Which provider types can partner?
Midwives, OBs, doulas, birthing centers, FQHCs, WIC offices — any provider seeing pregnant or postpartum Medicaid patients in New York.
How do we track which patients I referred?
Each provider gets a unique referral link (e.g. oriviacare.com/enroll?ref=001). Every submission via your link is tagged and visible in our system.
